With over 16 years teaching experience, Luis Grijalva is Professional World renowned Dancer, Off Broadway Performer and Instructor who has participatedd in many prestigious events, including Dancing with the Stars in both US and Mexico, Principal dancer in Luis Miguel Music video, Salsa Champion, World Mambo Finalist, Canadian Rising Star Rhythm Champion, and winner of most Rising Star US Dance competiitons.

Most recently, Luis became an Open to the world Rhythm finalist in the mainstream Dancesport scene & has also been a supporter for the LGBT community for quite some time. He has been nominated by Logo TV as one of the top gay athletes to be on the cover of the famous Wheaties cereal in preparation for the Gay Games in Cleveland Ohio. Luis has won the North American title division with with his previous partner Ernesto Palma. In addition Luis Grijalva was part of the first New York same gender dance competition the five Boro challenge in 2007 becoming New York’s first same-sex Latin champions with previous partner Jacob Jason. Luis and Jacob have been invited as guest teachers and performers for the April Follies Dance Event in the Bay Area. Luis is looking forward to continuing his support and encouragement of the LGBT dance community.
