Board Member Election

Our non-profit organization is run by a team of board members who typically serve a two-year term.

Those interested in running for a board member position should complete the following:

• Statement of Support for Candidate  (to be completed by a supporter of the candidate)
• Candidate Statement (to be completed by the candidate)
• Ensure that you have an active NASSPDA membership

The Election Committee is in charge of reviewing candidates, supervising and running the election.  No one on the Election Committee will be a candidate for election on the Board.  If you have questions, please email:  info@nasspda.org.   Each candidate may be contacted via phone by a member of the Election Committee for a short interview.

Once a candidate has been accepted, their name and Candidate Statement will be included on the ballot.

The 2023 Board elections timeline are as follows:

• Candidate application deadline – April 22, 2023
• Ballots will be sent May 1, 2023
• Voting ends May 14, 2023
• Confirmation of election results and voting of officers in the following Board Meeting
