Get Involved!

Volunteer...

You needn't be a member or a "good" dancer or any kind of a dancer to participate: you can just check things out.

One way to see if the dancesport community is for you is by volunteering. Almost every one of the events in our calendar [LINK] uses volunteers to help with organization before-hand and with the activity itself. If an event in our calendar includes no contact, contact us at info@nasspda.org.

Come to social events...

These include dances, classes, fundraising events, and a few other things. For a dance or dance class, you needn't have a partner. Look for listings here....

Come to a competition...

Dispel those memories of gym class! You don't have to be a competitor--you don't have to know anything at all--and you don't need a partner. Most competitions include all levels of dance from beginner to very advanced. Sometimes there are line dances that don't require a partner. Short classes are usually offered at breaks in the competition and all levels of dancers participate in these classes.
