The North American Same-Sex Partner Dance Association (NASSPDA) is a membership organization committed to the promotion and expansion of social and competitive same-sex partner dancing.
These dance types include Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country Western, Tango, and other partner dances, as well as different styles within those types, such as International and American Style. NASSPDA acknowledges and celebrates its origins in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community.
We attempt to be a transparent, inclusive, and accountable organization designed to serve the interests of its members and to represent those interests to the same-sex ballroom communities around the world.
Members would include dancers, competitors, teachers, event organizers and other interested parties. The organization will respect and encourage diversity with respect to race, ethnicity, disability, and gender identity and expression
We operate as a non-profit organization and thus have a board of directors. For more information on this Board, read more here.
